How We Write: Sources and Standards at Seoul & Beyond

Seoul & Beyond is a blog about Korean culture and travel for international fans and visitors. This page explains what our posts are based on and how they are organized.

What posts are based on

  • Posts are based on publicly available information — for example official tourism sources (Korea Tourism Organization / VisitKorea), venue and operator websites, and Korea’s public tourism data (TourAPI) for addresses and opening information.
  • Prices, opening hours and transport details change often, so check the official site before you go.
  • Each post shows its publish date, so you can judge how current the details are.

How the site is organized

  • Every post belongs to a category and a topic, and you can read them in order in our guides.
  • The “At a glance” box at the top of each post is a summary of that post’s own content, and “More on …” at the bottom links to related posts on the same topic.
